Hello there! So the other night I went to go eat at the Pilot House Pub&Grub at the University of Portland for dinner with my cousins. The place is so nice, UP actually just opened up the place last week so that's exciting.
Here they don't have a variety of food per se, they serve burgers, sandwiches, Mac and cheese, steak, ect. So it's more of American food, but it was super good! I ordered a Southern Chicken Wrap which was practically like a a burrito but with fried chicken, it also came with fries which were more like potato wedges than fries. I actually split with Jenny who got a farmhouse burger which is delicious! It was a burger with a fried egg and bacon on top, as you can see above in the pictures. So I technically got a wrap and a burger. The portions were decent and I actually took part of my wrap home since I couldn't finish it. One of my other cousins ordered Mac and cheese and I tried some, it could have used something more on it but nonetheless it was good. Also the prices weren't too bad.
The Pilot House is pretty cool, the place used to be a commons space for the students to come study and work, but they renovated the place and turned it into a Pub and Grill. Pedestrians can come in and go to the pub and order drinks I believe and enjoy the atmosphere the place offers which is quite unique in my opinion, making the community more integrated.
Overall the food here is quite tasty and I would come back for another farmhouse burger in the near future. So if you're ever near the University of Portland, maybe come by and try the Pilot House.
